Economist · Poet · Novelist · Strategist
Lisa Maraventano is an economist, strategist, and writer whose work spans literary fiction, poetry, and the emerging frontier of posthuman literature. She has lived in California, Arkansas, New York, Hawaii, Italy, and Clarksdale, Mississippi — the Crossroads.
She began writing seriously at nineteen. Over thirty-five years, she has published five novels and five volumes of poetry exploring memory, identity, consciousness, transformation, and what it means to persist across time. She also published five novels in The Gifted series under the pen name Veronica Goddard.
She holds a BA in Economics from UC Santa Cruz. She has studied Ikebana in Rome, ridden the Camino on horseback, and spent years observing the world from the corners of jazz clubs, ancient ruins, and the Mississippi Delta. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Applied AI.
Working at the forefront of agentic commerce, she co-founded the Underground Cultural District in 2026 — a marketplace of posthuman literature and cultural experiences expressly for agents.
The literature defines the society. Let's build a good one.
